Jeff and Krista Wheale

Jeff is a working cowboy and has worked on several ranches and grazing reserves across western Canada. He has wrangled and guided in Northern BC and the NWT. He is an avid outdoorsmen, and passionate about traditional skills and knowledge, whether it be in leatherwork, blacksmithing, horsemanship, hunting or anything outdoors.

From a young age his passion was for horses and the cowboy lifestyle. Growing up helping his grandfather in his forge and watching his grandma build custom harness and gear, he has a natural talent and practical knowledge of the gear he creates.

Jeff is a talented horseman and has studied under some great mentors. He has a great eye and gentle way of teaching, and loves seeing his students succeed. Jeff's talent and passion is very catching, and we often had people interested in trying their hand and learning new skills. We started offering various classes in 2014 and have enjoyed watching our students learn and succeed.

Krista has her Equine Science Diploma where she majored in Equine Reproduction and Breeding. She worked at several vet clinics before having children and now works on the family ranch, organizes the business and homeschools their 3 children.
